Description
Data Analysis will focus on extracting knowledge from data to solve problems across several domains. Over the semester, students will construct projects from various data sets: census, movie and video game ratings, music, and more. Students will learn to load, clean, transform, and visualize data to find patterns, build reports, and communicate results. All programming will be done in Python. <br> <br> Topics covered will include: <br><ul> <li>Pandas data structures <li>Retrieving data using APIs <li>Data cleaning, wrangling <li>Visualization <li>Bar charts <li>Heat maps <li>Grouping, aggregating, and sorting <li>Data cleaning </ul> This course serves as a foundation and prerequisite for future data science courses. <br> This course has weekly 2-hour sessions, <b>exclusively online</b>.
